The community of All Saints Church, Liddington warmly invites everyone from across Wellspring Villages and beyond to join us for this year’s Liddington Summer Fete on Saturday 13th June.
Taking place from 12 noon until 4pm on Liddington Playing Field and in All Saints Church, the fete promises a wonderful afternoon of fun, friendship and community spirit for all ages.
Visitors can enjoy live music throughout the afternoon, traditional fete games, fairground rides, a BBQ, refreshments, homemade cakes, an ice cream van and a wide variety of stalls run by local independent businesses, charities and craftspeople. There will also be a Beer Cabin serving Arkell’s and Ramsbury beers, along with cider, wine and soft drinks.
Inside All Saints Church, visitors are invited to enjoy beautiful flower displays, discover fascinating exhibits exploring the history of the church and village, take part in a family-friendly quiz, and climb the church tower for spectacular views across the surrounding Wiltshire countryside.
We are also delighted to welcome local cycling educator and mechanic Adrian Rogers, who will be running a free Dr Bike clinic throughout the afternoon. Bring your bicycle along for a free safety check, practical advice and minor repairs.
The fete will close at 4pm, but the celebrations continue with a Party at the Pub from 5pm at The Village Inn, with food, drinks and live music. Everyone is welcome.
As well as being a much-loved village event, the fete is an important fundraiser for All Saints Church. Proceeds from the day will help support ongoing repairs and maintenance of this beautiful and historic church building, which has served the village community for centuries.
Admission is £3 per adult, with children admitted free of charge.
