Our Wiltshire parish brings together the churches and communities of Bishopstone, Hinton Parva, Lyddington, and Wanborough — four villages linked by history, faith, and the beauty of the Wiltshire.
Our churches are more than historic buildings — they are living places of worship, prayer, celebration, and comfort. Whether you are exploring faith, seeking a spiritual home, or simply curious about our heritage, you are warmly invited to be part of our life together.
Friends of Wellspring
You don’t need to be a regular churchgoer to value these special places. The Friends of Wellspring is for anyone who wants to help preserve our churches and churchyards for future generations.
Friends help fund repairs, restoration, and improvements, and receive updates on projects and events. It’s a wonderful way to stay connected — without joining the formal Electoral Roll.
The Church Electoral Roll
If you are committed to the worshipping life of our parish, joining the Electoral Roll gives you the right to vote at the Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM) and stand for roles such as PCC member or Deanery Synod representative. It’s how we recognise our active members and involve them in shaping our church’s mission and governance.
Events & Services
From weekly worship to seasonal celebrations, concerts, and community gatherings, there’s always something happening in Wellspring Villages. You’ll find our service rota, upcoming events, and special services in our events section.
Bell Ringing
Our bell ringers keep alive a centuries-old tradition, sounding out joy, celebration, and remembrance across our villages. Based at St Andrew’s Wanborough and All Saints Lyddington, we welcome learners of all ages — whether you’ve never touched a bell rope or are an experienced ringer looking for a new tower.
Volunteering
Our parish thrives because of the time and talents of people like you. From welcoming on Sundays to arranging flowers, leading children’s activities, supporting music, or maintaining our buildings, there’s a place for everyone to serve. Training and support are always provided — all you need is a willing heart.
