Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM)

The Annual Parochial Church Meeting is a key moment in the life of Wellspring Villages — a chance to look back with gratitude, look forward with hope, and shape the future of our parish together.

What is the APCM?

The Annual Parochial Church Meeting is the parish’s yearly gathering — a bit like a family meeting — where we share what’s happened over the past year, celebrate God’s blessings, and make plans for the future.

It’s also when we elect people to serve on the Parochial Church Council (PCC) and, if needed, the Deanery Synod. If you’re on the Electoral Roll, you can vote and even stand for election — but everyone is welcome to come, listen, and be part of the conversation.

Much like an AGM in other organisations, the APCM is where we:

Review the financial accounts of the church
Reflect on our ministry and activities over the past year
Receive updates on safeguarding, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all
Elect new PCC members and, if needed, Deanery Synod representatives
If you’re on the Electoral Roll, you can vote and stand for election — but everyone is welcome to attend, hear the reports, and be part of the conversation.
This is your opportunity to connect with parish leadership, celebrate what God has done, and contribute to our shared vision for the future.

Our Next APCM Meeting is:

Monday 27 April 2026
