Our Informal Sunday Services for All Ages

Earlier this year, we introduced A New Way to Gather – a relaxed and informal service offering a different way to come together for worship, reflection and conversation.

Held at Hinton Village Hall, the gathering grew out of our Lent Bible study group and was created as an opportunity to explore a different style of worship alongside our regular Sunday services.

Since the first gathering in May, the group has continued to meet each month, with Rob and Julian leading a mixture of music, prayer, Bible reflection and conversation in an informal setting.

One of the ideas behind A New Way to Gather was that it wouldn’t arrive as a finished product. Instead, it would have the freedom to develop as people came along, shared ideas and discovered what worked.

A few months in, that’s exactly what is beginning to happen.

We’ll be sharing more about how the gathering is developing soon. In the meantime, if you’ve been curious but haven’t yet come along, you’re very welcome to give it a try.
